這裡強調的是，製造勝利的形勢的重要性。

如果一個領導人可以認知到形勢重於個人的能力，在這個情況之下，努力於將勝利的形式打造好。

可以更容易的找到正確的下屬幫他進行後續工作，而不是寄望下屬去扭轉情勢。

這一樣是一種求之在己的想法。
